Bonus Supervised Study Sessions

Hi Everyone,

The work being done by students in the office has been outstanding over the last few weeks so we have decided to run six “Bonus” supervised study sessions at both the Bondi Junction and the Mosman office next week (Week of 6th Oct) and the week after (Week of 13th Oct). These sessions are in addition to the Friday and Sunday sessions which are still available for students to attend.

Prior to the final exams commencing (Bondi & Mosman)

Wednesday 8th October

9am to 12pm Supervised study session

Thursday 9th October

9am to 12pm Supervised study session

Friday 10th October

9am to 12pm Supervised study session

During the final exam period (Bondi & Mosman)

Wednesday 15th October

9am to 12pm Supervised study session

Thursday 16th October

9am to 12pm Supervised study session

Friday 17th October

9am to 12pm Supervised study session

Saturday 18th October

9am to 12pm Supervised Study session

HSC 2027 has officially started under a NEW English syllabus, and now is the time to build strong essay-writing habits. After helping thousands of HSC students, we’ve identified 6 essential tips for writing a high-performing essay:
1️⃣ Start with a system, not just notes. Use a structured framework like our Essay Building Template (EBT) to turn your knowledge into a clear, compelling argument.
2️⃣ Know your syllabus. Understand what your English focus area is assessing and make sure every essay directly addresses the question.
3️⃣ Build a strong thesis and structure. Establish a clear argument and develop it logically throughout your essay.
4️⃣ Focus on analysis, not description. Choose your strongest evidence and explain HOW and WHY the composer creates meaning.
5️⃣ Adapt, don’t memorise. Prepare flexible arguments and evidence that you can confidently apply to different HSC questions.
6️⃣ Practice, practice, practice! Spend less time rewriting notes and more time writing essays, getting feedback and refining your skills.

Remember: Band 6 essays aren’t necessarily written by the smartest students. They’re written by students who follow a system.
