Economics Update : The Commission of Audit and Fiscal Policy

May 9, 2014

The National Commission of Audit was announced by the Treasurer, the Hon Joe Hockey MP, and the Minister for Finance, Senator the Hon Mathias Cormann, on 22 October 2013. The Commission was established by the Australian Government as an independent body to review and report on the performance, functions and roles of the Commonwealth government.

This has been done in the lead up to the announcement of the Budget on Tuesday 13th May.

The budget comes under Fiscal Policy as one of the tools that can be used by the government to manage the economy.

Fiscal policy refers to the federal government’s use of its annual budget to affect the level of economic level of activity, resource allocation and income distribution. It an also influence the achievement of the government’s objective of eocnomic growth, internal and internal balance.

At HSC CoWorks, we emphasise the power of mindmaps for a student’s daily syllabus training. Mindmaps help students break down complex topics, see connections, and retain information more effectively. They’re an essential tool for organised study, making sure no part of the syllabus is overlooked, and empowering students to approach their HSC with confidence and clarity.
How would you feel if you knew the syllabus as well as the top HSC students?
How confident would you feel to attempt practice questions and essays if you knew the syllabus for the topic inside and out?
How ready would you be for an exam if you were taking a roadmap of the syllabus into the exam room with you.. inside of your brain?
Mindmaps take 5-10mins and should be a daily practice for any HSC student. #hsc2025 #hsccoworks #hscstudytips
