We’ve expanded our ‘Zoom an Expert’ options for all students

Mar 9, 2021

Up until now our ‘Zoom an Expert’ service provided students with access to our amazing teachers Fergus, Tim and Adrian. We have now expanded our Zoome an Expert team to include our expert HSC Coaches, who graduated in either 2019 or 2020.

These sessions are open to both HSC CoWorks Virtual Campus students AND our Face to Face students in Bondi Junction, Chatswood, Dee Why and Mosman. Students can book 2 x 20min Zoom an Expert sessions in addition to their weekly coaching sessions.

1. Watch this video explaining the ‘Zoom an Expert’ service

  • Students have complete flexibility to book their expert 7 days a week.
  • Students choose what subject they want to work on at any given point.
  • The one-on-one session means that our experts are supporting students with their specific challenges.

2. Book your preferred Expert via the Student Dashboard

We have experts online 7 days a week! Book your session to discuss anything from subject/topic specific challenges, essay structure, additional support for an upcoming assessment task or exam, planning and organisation, motivation and goal setting.

One night a student might book a session with Jade for Economics and later that week book a session with Fergus for Modern History. This provides student with the flexibility to receive the support they need, when they need it.

3. Join your session!

Students are sent a Zoom link to join the session once the booking has been made. Students have the flexibility to update their bookings as needed via the Student Dashboard.

At the end of their session, both the student and parent will receive an emailed summary of the session along with agreed action steps and recommendations.

🚨 MARCH RAFFLE – FINAL DAYS TO WIN A $75 WESTFIELD VOUCHER 🚨
Every rep = a shot to win.
Upload a Mind Map → 🎟️ 1 entry
Submit a Challenge Question → 🎟️ 1 entry
The more you submit… the more chances you have. Simple.
But here’s the real win 👇
Every submission = feedback
Every feedback = chance for improvement
🎯 Practice. Submit. Win.
One of the biggest mistakes students make in the HSC is trying to avoid getting things wrong.
❌ They delay practice.
❌ They wait until they feel ready.
❌ They leave feedback too late.
Confidence doesn’t come from getting your answers right the first time. It comes from getting it WRONG early enough to improve.
The students who perform best:
✅ Practice questions early
✅ Practice their writing consistently
✅ Get feedback weeks (not days) before exams
🎯 The goal isn’t to avoid failure. It’s to use it, early, so you can walk into exams calm, prepared, and confident.
The students who stay consistent during the HSC?
They’re not more disciplined. They’re more connected.
Connected to:
🏔️Where they’re going
🏔️ Who they want to become
🏔️ What’s possible if they follow through
Because when your vision is strong, you stop negotiating with yourself.
You don’t wake up and ask: “Do I feel like studying today?”
You wake up and ask: ““What do I need to do today to get closer to the top of Mount HSC?”
