December/January Holidays Open Hours

Nov 26, 2013

The summer holidays in the HSC year are an opportunity to rest and re-energise in preparation for the climb up the much steeper sections of Mount HSC in Terms 1, 2 and 3. We advise that students take a good break from the HSC campaign of 3 to 4 weeks. This may seem like a big break for a very important year but it is crucial for students to be peaking towards the back end of the HSC campaign (July to October) rather than feeling burnt out when most of the marks are up for grabs.

Having said that we strongly encourage that students spend the two weeks of the holidays before returning to school completing work on any assessment tasks for Term 1 as well as revising work completed in Term 4. The goal is to hit the ground running in Term 1 while most other students are still getting back into study mode.

Below are a list of the important dates for the December and January holidays.

December 2013

  1. Holiday Support Session – Sunday 8th December 10am to 1pm Bondi and Mosman tuition centres
  2. Holiday Support Session– Sunday 15th December 10am to 1pm Mosman only. (Bondi renovation will have commenced so we are unable to offer a support session in December in Bondi however Bondi students are welcome to attend Mosman for this session)
  3. Online essay marking will close for 2013 on December 20th until January 13th 2014

  3. Holiday Support Session – Saturday 25th of January 12pm to 4pm (Bondi and Mosman)

So many students wait until they feel motivated or have a solid study plan before they begin 🙅‍♀️🙅
But in reality, motivation usually comes after the first action is taken. You don’t need the perfect plan. You just need the first step.
Start small. Just start.
What does a week at CoWorks look like?
It’s not just one session. It’s not just one weekly touchpoint.
It’s a full system of support designed to build confidence and keep students consistently organised, proactive and motivated across the week.
We still have a few places available for Year 12 students across our campuses. If you’re interested, we’d love to invite you to a free 7-day trial so you can see why students choose CoWorks.

April Study Bootcamp is coming...
The April holidays are a critical time for Year 12 students preparing for the busiest assessment term of the year. While a short break is important, using some of this time to get ahead can make a huge difference for Term 2.
At Bootcamp, students will:
✅ Build essays for upcoming texts and modules
🎯 Practice exam-style responses for completed topics
💡 Strengthen readiness for Term 2 assessments
For Year 11 students, one third of the year is already complete. With only two terms until the HSC year begins, this is the perfect time to consolidate preliminary topics and build strong foundations.
Across the 4-hour structured session each day, students tackle English and other key “frog” subjects to ensure meaningful progress before the term begins.
